Centro Comunitario Santa Fe – Mexico
Centro Comunitario Santa Fe (CCSF) supports communities in Mexico City’s unequal Santa Fe region through four pillars: health, education, psychosocial support, and values development. Serving over 750 people across various age groups, CCSF transforms vulnerable communities into flourishing ones by developing capacities and potential.
CCSF is recognized as a safe space where people gain momentum and develop their resources to improve their quality of life, expand their horizons, and positively influence their lives.
Four Pillar Model:
Health: Comprehensive health programs ensuring community wellness.
Education: Programs for all ages, from early childhood to adults, promoting community development and breaking intergenerational poverty cycles. This includes scholarships, tutoring, and INEA certificates to help communities access opportunities and empower individuals.
Psychosocial Support: Addressing security issues like violence and drugs, CCSF provides safe, values-based programs for recreational and skills development, essential for community well-being.
Values Development: Cultivating community members to become volunteers, staff, and change agents through experience, modeling, and a shared responsibility for the community’s future.
CCSF’s education programs are critical in providing quality educational opportunities, preventing school dropouts, and supporting students financially and academically. Programs like “”Youth with Direction”” offer young people a second chance to study high school, develop socio-emotional skills, and become employable, contributing to their life projects and community betterment.
