Following the recent severe storms and devastating flooding around Valencia, Spain, Hexagon Group AG is making a donation to support the affected communities.

We are pleased to announce a significant development for Hexagon Group AG. In December 2023, we founded the Hexagon Subfoundation, an initiative exclusively dedicated to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). This move reflects our commitment to making substantial contributions to the regions where our operations have an impact. 

The Hexagon Subfoundation aims to strategically leverage our corporate influence for sustainable and social development, contributing to the enhancement of community well-being. Commencing in 2024, the foundation will focus on supporting a range of projects centred on education, children’s welfare, and access to clean water. Our efforts will extend to regions such as Mexico, Brazil, and Guatemala, aligning with our vision for a more equitable world.

Our dedication to CSR transcends mere obligation; it signifies a deliberate move towards responsible corporate governance. We firmly believe in the pivotal role that businesses play in shaping a better future. The Hexagon Subfoundation is our proactive step in fulfilling this collective responsibility.

In the wake of a devastating 6.8-magnitude earthquake that struck Morocco on September 9, 2023, Hexagon is taking immediate action to support relief efforts in the affected regions. The earthquake wreaked havoc on large areas of the country, resulting in the destruction of numerous homes and critical infrastructure, including hospitals and schools, and displacing thousands of children and their families.

In response to this crisis, Hexagon is committed to making a positive impact by donating USD 20,000 to support relief efforts in Morocco. The contributions will be equally distributed among three reputable NGOs, selected for their track record and ability to efficiently manage and allocate funds to those in need. These organizations include:

This year, we are pleased to support the following organizations:

1. ETH Zurich: Our partnership with ETH Zurich supports the BiodivX project, which aims to contribute to the conservation of biodiversity on our planet through interdisciplinary research, teaching, and outreach.


2. Fundacion Bobath: Continuing our support from previous years, we reaffirm our commitment to Fundacion Bobath, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and adults with cerebral palsy and other neurological disorders. 3. UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees): In light of the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, we are providing a donation earmarked for emergency relief efforts. This support will aid UNHCR in providing shelter, protection, and assistance to those affected by the crisis, including displaced families and refugees.


4. UNICEF: We recognize the urgent need to support the children of Ukraine who are facing the devastating consequences of conflict. Our donation to UNICEF will help ensure that children in Ukraine receive access to essential services, education, and healthcare, providing hope and a brighter future.


5. Sustainability Open Innovation Challenge (SOIC): We participate for another year in the SOIC 2023, an initiative that promotes sustainability and innovation in startups. By supporting this challenge, we strongly commit to fostering innovative solutions for sustainable development. Today we attended the ZCA and HFW Seminar at Parkhotel Zug about Dealing with Sanctions Enforcement and Regulators Worldwide. The event brought together different industry leaders to discuss valuable insights and updates on EU, UK, Swiss, and US sanctions against Russia and ultimate beneficial ownership issues in counterparts.
